Here are some of my favorite links on this wiki:
For general editing reference, especially beginner-level stuff:
- Common editing mistakes especially the ones I did a lot of in week 1:
- Best map editing practice especially
- Waze_Map_Editor#Keyboard_Shortcuts -- I always forget these
Here are some great browser extensions to help me find my mistakes:
- Extensions#WME_Validator -- makes a bunch of checks, and is customizable (so you can search for only YOUR edits, and find those accidental bridges where ${elevation} is not 0, for example.
- Extensions#WME_Color_Highlights_.28WMECH.29 -- different from Validator, shows which segments are locked, have no city, etc.
- Extensions#WME_Junction_Angle_info -- shows junction angles, so you can compare them to Waze rules for giving turn instructions and for "too sharp turn".
