Sometimes, a simple question on the forum will provoke a particularly long & detailed response from me. It's probably a good idea for me to remember where to find these answers, rather than constantly repeating them!

I think it's been transferred to the Global Wazzopaedia, so it's beyond my control now. This is the forum topic where it was discussed.

Quotations from Chairman House

Sometimes, a simple question on the forum will provoke a particularly long & detailed response from me. It's probably a good idea for me to remember where to find these answers, rather than constantly repeating them!

Some of my proposals to improve Waze:

Force editors to visit the forum

9 thanks. No response from HQ.

Reach Out Automatically to New Editors

18 thanks. No response from HQ.

New UR type – Editor Comment

15 thanks. No response from HQ. We implemented it anyway, using the URO+ script to provide icons for new comment types. Now being used in many countries.

Monthly UR report from Waze

9 thanks. No response from HQ. The need for this is now greatly reduced thanks to the WME UR-MP Tracking script.

Roadworks UK sub-forum

No thanks - but we implemented it successfully. I believe at least one other country has adopted the idea.

Limit scoring rates for new editors

NEW - we'll see how it goes. ;)
