A Local Champ is an experienced editor of the highest quality who demonstrates an exceptional involvement in and dedication to supporting the UK Editing Community.
Qualifiers
- Rank 4 or 5 with a track record of editing to the highest standard and in compliance with all UK guidelines
- Substantial involvement on the forums, including contributing to discussions and providing help & advice to junior editors
- Active in WME chat, regularly providing support to other editors
This is not a position that can be applied for. It will be awarded based on editing work & obvious involvement in the community. |
Duties
- Providing support to junior editors in forums & WME chat
- Contacting & educating problem editors about best practice
- Helping to keep control of old URs and MPs across the country
- Dealing with road closure requests from users and 3rd-party sources
- Maintain the national road network of Motorways and Primary Routes
- Continue to look after their own AM area as required
