We implemented it anyway, using the [https://www.waze.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=819&t=29054 URO+ script] to provide icons for new comment types. Now being used in many countries. Eventually, Map Comments were added to native WME. Surprisingly, they did a pretty good job of it. :)
