Based on information researched at the time this page was created, red light and speed cameras are illegal statewide in Connecticut.
No other camera types should be mapped in Waze.
There have been several proposals go through the legislature to legalize these cameras. Currently there is no prohibition on "driver feedback signs" - a radar/laser equipped sign that measures speed and displays the speed back to the driver.
