Restricted crossing U turn (RCUT) intersection
The median crossing segments in a restricted crossing U turn (aka "J-turn" or "Superstreet") intersection should be set to the Ramp type.
RCUT Turn Instructions
- U-Turn. The Turn instruction at the final node of a median crossing segment of an RCUT should be specified as a "U-Turn" Voice prompt when the turning motion results in a U-turn for the driver.
- Left-turn.' The Turn instruction at the final node of a median crossing segment of an RCUT should be specified as a "Turn" Voice prompt when the motion is not a U-turn, and the median crossing segment stoping point is not directly facing the intended outbound segment (a turning motion is still required).
