This article is about the Waze client application messaging feature. For the Waze forum feature, see Private message (forum).
Tapping on friends on map, or tapping friends in Friends screen allows you to send private messages. As opposed to map chats, these are sent only to the user you pick.
- Android: do not have Inbox, only pop up window.
- iPhone only - received as an inbox message too.
To view the message open the Menu and choose My Waze:
Choose Inbox:
Currently there is no message “threading” here, each message is received as a separate inbox message. Also currently there is no way to reply from the inbox. The plan is to fix this asap.
