They are available any time if you have questions or concerns about something. You can PM any of us here, or use Google Hangouts (GHO). GHO’s are a huge part of the editing community these days. They are great for communicating, finding answers to questions, and getting to know your fellow editors. If you don't already have a gmail account, we would recommend getting one for that alone. If you do have one, share it and we can add you to the group.

We have several unique ways of mapping things here in our state as opposed to the rest of the country.

Hello!

This page is to introduce you to the Wisconsin leaders and some helpful links to get on the best path to editing. There are three State Managers (SM) here in Wisconsin. Lonewolf147, poweruser10, ojlaw, and wxw777.

They are available any time if you have questions or concerns about something.  You can PM me or the SM's here, or use Discord.  Discord is a huge part of the community communication these days.  If you don't already have a gmail account (or at least a dedicated waze email address), I would recommend getting one.

Here is a link to fill out a form to gain access to our GLR (Great Lakes Region) Discord server. https://discord.me/wazeglr

I highly recommend joining this, as there is a lot of good and knowledgeable people in it.  Questions, up/downlock requests, closures, can all be answered much more quickly than via the forum.

If you haven't already seen this page: https://goo.gl/U9wcSY We would highly recommend you take a look and install a couple of the script/tools that we have available. They are EXTREMELY helpful to editing. At minimum, you should consider these: WME Magic, WME Color Highlights, UR Overview Plus, and WME Toolbox. Others are good too, but those four are core ones to use.

We have several unique ways of mapping things here in our state as opposed to the rest of the country.

Most new editors like to get going with parking lot roads, but often don’t know the proper way to map them. Please pay close attention to information about parking lots, excessive parking lot roads (PLR), red roads, rail roads, trails, bodies of water, dividing/un-dividing roads, and area places.

It's great to have you on board!

Hope to see you around a lot!

Thanks for your help with the map!
