KEEP THE FOLLOWING FOR FUTURE REFERENCE:
 
During the winter closure, highway name should be "! CLOSED ! State Hwy 242" and in the summer, when open, the standard name, "State Hwy 242" is fine.
 
Landmarks for the closure gates should be large in the winter for better app visibility. Shrink the landmark in the summer.

Large road construction projects often have website project pages and give notice to the public prior to starting. If we stage these roads in Waze and have them ready to deploy when they open to the public, Waze will be a leader in update map providers.

|ODOT and City of Woodburn have agreed (June 11, 2012) to a design package and approved moving forward with the rebuilding of the interchange on I-5 at MP271.

|US20 Pioneer Mountain to Eddyville
|Phase 2: 2015
|ODOT is bypassing a winding section of existing US20. This project has been on-going since at least 2007. There have been several delays, including landslides and bridge supports being bent, or going out-of-plumb after installation.
 
As of June 25, 2012 the project is back underway with a new low-bid contractor. The previously planned bridges are planned to become large box culverts instead, due to the soil instability.

|Phase 1 groundbreaking took place August 29, 2012 at the location of the new junction near OR219 and Wynooski Rd. Construction is planned to begin in 2013. Full plan is to build a bypass for OR99W south of Newberg and Dundee between the OR18/OR99W interchange to a new interchange on Rex Hill just east of Newberg.

NOTES: The new Del Rio Rd in place, overpass, ramps, realigned OR99 and updated Exit information and turn restrictions. I am unsure as to naming of former Del Rio Rd, nor where it terminates. Unsure if there are any intersections with previous private roads and new Del Rio Rd.
 
ODOT will replace the Del Rio bridge over I-5 at the Winchester Interchange (Exit 129). All ramps for Exit 129 will move and Del Rio Rd and OR99 will be realigned.
