Bypass
Make a bypass if a temporary road is used for a number of weeks, while the old road is not available to traffic.
Create the bypass with new segments if it is possible to re-use the old road segments later on for the future situation. Don't delete the old road to keep the segment data. When using the bypass, old road segments can be blocked with a closure. The longer the bypass is used the less important is to preserve the old segment.
