Straat- en plaatsnamen
- Voor de meeste wegtypes moeten zowel de naam Straat als Stad worden opgegeven. Bekijk de wegtypes voor voorbeelden.
- Specificeer Straat en optionele Stadsnaam in het geval van Ramps
- Geef alleen Straat op voor Freeways (autosnelwegen) en Spoorlijnen.
- Specificeer alleen een Stad naam voor Landingsbanen maar ook voor Rotondes.
- Specificeer Stadsnaam en optionele Straat voor Parking lot roads (Parkeerplaats).
- Volg dezelfde regels voor alternatieve namen.
Plaatsnamen
Plaatsnamen zijn gelockt en kunnen worden geraadpleegd.
De officiële plaatsnamen vind je via Staatsalmanak.
Het BAG is leidend, voor zowel de straat- als plaatsnaam.
Gebruik slechts één plaatsnaam, ook als een plaatselijk dorp of buurt ook onder een andere naam bekend is.
Street names
All segments should get a City name, and most segments also get a Street name.
When there is a City name and Street name, it's possible there is also a road number. This road number should be positioned before the Streetname. Like: N200 - S103 - Haarlemmerweg
If the road is part of a U-route, the U-route identification, like U27, should be added as alternative street name.
The Street name of an Express Gasoline station place contains the Street name itself plus [<BRAND> EXPRESS].
Pronounciation
Remarks on the pronounciation of street names in the Text to speak navigation:
- The primary Street is used.
- If the offical Street name differs from the correct pronounciated Street name, the official Street name should be defined as alternative name.
Routing
There can be a problem with navigating to a fully defined destination - house number present or Residential Place defined - when there is closeby a segment with a matching Alternative Street name.
