Bypass
Create a bypass if, during a couple of weeks, a temporary road is used while the old road isn't available for the traffic.
Create the bypass with new segments if it is possible to re-use the old road segments later on for the future situation. Don't delete the old road to keep the segment data. The longer the bypass is used the less important is to preserve the old segment.
Add a map comment to document the bypass.
