Based on information researched at the time this page was created, red light and speed cameras are illegal statewide in New Jersey.
No other camera types should be mapped in Waze.
Important: As of 12/16/14 all red light cameras have been turned off and signage has been removed, pending a statewide vote whether to reinstate them. Until further notice, no cameras shall be approved in the editor or added from the client. Existing cameras can be added to this doc so we can track them. If you are able to disable (click "Not approved") cameras that you have previously approved, please do so immediately. If you are unable to save disabled cameras, they should be deleted - after adding them to the list.
