Here is the South Carolina guidance on what level places are to be locked at in the Waze Map Editor and which type of place (area or point to use). Please note, any category with the place type of point may be made into an area if it qualifies as a Places#Landmarks according to national guidance. Also, all places without a lock level listed may be locked at 2 once their name, location, category, and address have been confirmed.
