-->5 m (16 feet)

Documentation[view] [edit] [history] [purge]

This template is used to display the minimum segment length as a global variable in the Wiki. This template enables this number to be changed if necessary over time without having to change the individual pages.

The minimum is based on ensuring the Waze servers are able to track vehicle speeds through the segment. When they are too short, the server cannot obtain accurate data.

The value may not reflect the known value due to rounding issues in WME that make tracking a specific measurement often ambiguous, thus requiring a full meter different. Details of this issue are covered in WME segment length display.

Usage

Place {{:Segment length/Minimum}} on any page where you want to display the following:

-->5 m (16 feet)
