The Virtual Emergency Operations Center or VEOC was setup to help areas experiencing a very high volume of closures due to an event. It is designed to complement and enhance a state or region's ability to handle closures. It is designed to allow every editor, no matter their rank or experience, a chance to help those in the affected area(s).
Dedicated team
- A dedicated Discord server is used to communicate effectively. It can be accessed at https://discord.me/wazeveoc-usa
- The team was created to allow greater flexibility of feeds, channels, etc and be independent of any region
