Speed Cameras
Alabama - As of the Alabama Supreme Court decision on May 1, 2020 (on technicalities), speed cameras that issue tickets appear to be valid on a localized basis. There is currently no statewide regulation in place. Speed cameras may be mapped after checking with local ordinances to validate the existence and permitted use.
Florida - The state of Florida does not make use of speed cameras that issue tickets. Please do not map them.
Georgia – On May 8, 2018 school zone speed cameras became permitted. These cameras are not mapped because they are not enforced for the entire day and there is no way to set enforcement times on the Waze map. Please do not map them.
