| When using the Waze app, tapping once on the screen will bring up the "-", "+" and "North Compass" pointer. Pressing the "-" will back up the user view to increase the area seen in the map, but reduce ability to see lower level roads. Pressing the "+" will increase the view resolution by reducing the portion of the map displayed.
