CENSUS DESIGNATED PLACE (CDP)?

In SER, only CDPs (from the 2010 census) with populations greater than 10,000 people are valid for use. CDPs are established by the Census Bureau for each decennial census (the census held every 10 years). Population statistics and boundaries are located on the ( Census Bureau Website.)

The only approved source for CDP boundaries are those provided by the US census government website. The geographic boundaries of CDP's area available in,

PDF form. Go to the US Census Bureau 2010 Census Tracts(Places) page. Select the State, Select the county on the page that pops up. Or,

Shapefiles. Create an overlay of the boundaries for use in WME. (One method for creating this overlay is explained in this presentation, Overlay CDP's on WME, by t0cableguy.)

County Property Appraiser

If you look up a parcel for the segment using the appropriate Property Appraiser's website does it list the target name as a valid address?
