This is a documentation subpage for Template:Dated maintenance category.
It contains usage information, categories and other content that is not part of the original template page.

Usage Restriction

This template is not supposed to be used directly but is transcluded from the template {{As of}}.

Usage

This template adds a dated category to a page : Category:Articles containing potentially dated statements from October 2024 if, for instance, October 2024 is the date specified in Parameter 1.
It will also add the page to a generic category : Category:All articles containing potentially dated statements
If the dated category is invalid it will also add the page to Category:Articles with invalid date parameter in template

Syntax

Parameter 1: Date (month year, e.g. November 2024).

Note

An incorrect date is any date which is not of the form November 2024, e.g. November 15, 2024, or june instead of June, or other spelling mistakes.
