This template is designed to place a uniform marker on all wiki pages which have been curated to build the Wazeopedia Global wiki instance.
Usage
Using this template will perform 4 actions:
- Place a small Wazeopedia icon on the top right of the page, alongside the page title, which links to the Waze:Wazeopedia hub, which will explain and link to the welcome thread from Wonderlerm (PM) introducing the Wazeopedia project. It will also have other Wazeopedia editing related information.
- Add a hatnote to the top of the page marking it as a global page with the same link.This page was nominated to be a Wazeopedia Global page. Forum to discuss nomination.
- Add the following text inside a <!--comment code--> at the top of the wiki markup code for page, visible when editing the page.

- This comment text can be added to a section by itself without the visible banner to individual sections using the
|section=yes
parameter. - The visible banner and logo can be added to a page by itself without the comment text by not substituting the page, and including a blank parameter

- Add a [[Category:Wazeopedia Global Page]] tag to be displayed at the bottom of the page, and enable easy tracking and grouping.
Directions
To perform all these functions go to the page you would like to mark, and click on top to edit the entire page. (Do not click the edit link at the top of a section, click the edit link at the top of the page.)
- At the very top of the page add the following code;

- Don't forget to add an Edit Summary to the effect of "Marking as global wiki page".
- Save your edit, and confirm your results.
To add the text to the code of an individual section ONLY, and not perform the other functions:
- Click the edit link for the desired section. (You may want to repeat this for each section on the page
- At the very top of the page add the following code;

- Don't forget to add an Edit Summary to the effect of "Marking as global wiki page".
- Save your edit, and confirm your results.
To only display the visible banner and logo, go to the page you would like to mark, and click on top to edit the entire page. (Do not click the edit link at the top of a section, click the edit link at the top of the page.)
